iTunes playlists can be exported as TXT or XML. The XML file format
however is not compatible with the MediaGate Media Centre. This can be
overcome by using iTunesExport

a simple UI to collect the iTunes playlist information and export
selected playlists or all playlists (default) to EXTM3U.

Library Location: E:\Media\Music\iTunes\iTunes Library.xml
Output Directory: Z:\Music\Playlists

Minor edits are required with a text editor. I use UltraEdit and macro to
make the following changes: Replace “E:\Media\Music” with “..” and
Replace “\” with “/”
